Statement Types

  • Questions: Statements that seek answers or insights from the community. Users can respond with their opinions, knowledge, or experiences.
  • Responses: Statements that directly address questions or other statements. They can provide answers, counterarguments, or additional information.
  • Evidence: Statements that back up claims or arguments. Users can attach supporting documents, links, or references to these statements.
  • Proof: Statements that require a higher level of substantiation. Users might provide strong evidence or logical reasoning to support their claims.
  • Comments: Brief statements that offer general feedback, expressions of agreement or disagreement, or other short remarks on the discussion.
  • Proposals: Statements suggesting specific actions or changes. Others can vote on these proposals to gauge community support.
  • Summaries: Statements that distill key points from lengthy discussions or complex topics to help others understand the core ideas.
  • Debates: Statements that initiate formal debates or discussions between users, often with defined rules and time limits.
  • Announcements: Official statements or updates from administrators or moderators of the platform.
  • Opinions: Statements expressing personal viewpoints or subjective perspectives on various topics.

  • Up-vote: Users can vote positively for a statement to indicate that they find it valuable or well-argued.
  • Down-vote: Users can vote negatively for a statement to express that they disagree or find it unhelpful.
  • Emoji Reactions: Users can react to statements using a variety of emojis to express their emotions, such as thumbs-up, applause, laughter, or sadness.
  • Comments: Users can leave comments to provide additional context, explanations, or feedback on a statement.
  • Flag: Users can flag statements that violate community guidelines or require moderation attention.
  • Share: Users can share statements with others, both within and outside the platform, to promote discussion and awareness.
  • Bookmark: Users can save statements for later reference or follow-up.
  • Report: Users can report statements that contain inappropriate content or violate platform rules.
